Graz Anatomy

The course takes place at the Anatomy Institute, Medical University of Graz, known for a long tradition of cadaver workshops.

Implantcast MUTARS

Focus of the course is to practice implantation of the MUTARS endoprosthesis in the hip and knee.

Experienced Faculty

Course instructors are orthopaedic surgeons, highly experienced in tumors and endoprosthetic reconstructions.

What We Offer

This advanced tumor endoprosthesis workshop offers young orthopaedic oncologists, fellows of orthopaedic oncology or senior residents to learn in detail techniques, surgical tips and tricks, as well as practice resection and reconstruction of the proximal femur, distal femur and proximal tibia with Implantcast MUTARS tumor endoprosthesis.

Cadaver workshop

The maximal number of 3 participants per cadaver provides top quality and an exclusive opportunity for each participant to implant at least two and assist in at least four tumor endoprosthesis implantation during the course.

Implantcast support

Each cadaver team will be accompanied and supported by an industry expert, providing practical advice, instruments and implants.

Faculty of experts

Experienced orthopaedic oncology surgeons will guide participants during the course. Each cadaver team consists of 3 participants, at least one instructor and one industry expert.

About Us

The organization of the course is made through Medical University of Graz (Department of Orthopaedics and Trauma and Department of Anatomy) and Alphamed Fischer, in close cooperation in Medical University Essen, Medical University of Padova, Medical University Innsbruck and Implancast GmbH.
